Viññāṇa Sutta
In Sāvatthi.
Monks,
(1) Visual cognition is continually changing,
Gone, the moment it arises,
and bound to become different.
(2) Auditive cognition is continually changing,
Gone, the moment it arises,
and bound to become different.
(3) Olfactive cognition is continually changing,
Gone, the moment it arises,
and bound to become different.
(4) Gustative cognition is continually changing,
Gone, the moment it arises,
and bound to become different.
(5) Bodily cognition is continually changing,
Gone, the moment it arises,
and bound to become different.
(6) Conceptual cognition is continually changing,
Gone, the moment it arises,
and bound to become different. [1]
